The best performances of 2018 were celebrated in Hollywood Sunday evening with the Screen Actors Guild Awards Ceremony.
The annual event, now in its 25th year, gave its top award of the night to the ensemble of “Black Panther.” Another big winner on the night was Rami Malek, who won the SAG’s best male actor performance for his work in “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Longtime actor Alan Alda was also honored Sunday with the SAG’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In his career he earned several accolades for his work on “M*A*S*H” and “The West Wing” including six Emmys and six Golden Globes. Additionally, he’s a member of the Television Hall of Fame.

At the weekend box office, it was the realistic superhero drama “Glass” earning the top spot with $19 million. Another movie hanging in the top five was “The Upside,” taking second with $12.2 million.

3. Aquaman – $7,350,000
4. The Kid who would be King – $7,250,000
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – $6,150,000
For the upcoming weekend, new releases include the action thriller “Miss Bala” and the survival drama “Arctic.”
On the small screen, meanwhile, new home releases are:
